Currently boasting a large range of clients, this role will see you supporting Sydney operational sites and their associated vehicle fleet.
  
About the Role
As the Health and Safety Business Partner, you will lead safety initiatives across Sydney sites, driving safety improvements and strengthening a strong safety culture. You will work closely with a supportive team, coaching and influencing leaders and workers to establish high safety standards, while also delivering critical risk management and process safety improvements. 

You will collaborate with various stakeholders to drive innovative strategies at a local level, ensuring continuous improvement in health and safety practices. Your work will directly contribute to the company’s broader sustainability goals, making this an exciting opportunity for a passionate HSE professional. 
More specifically this will include:

  • Support the execution of the enterprise health and safety strategy, plan, and priorities
  • Partner and influence business critical roles to increase HSE knowledge, performance and culture
  • Support the execution of health and safety standards, guidance and tools into the business
  • Assist with continuous improvement activities, identifying opportunities and proposing solutions to enhance overall HSE performance
About You
To be successful in this role it is imperative you are a people person. This is a role that engages with the waste processing business to drive safety performance, so a new aged approach is critical.
  • Minimum 5 years practical health and safety role
  • Previous exposure to effectively partnering with the operations teams and key stakeholders
  • Fluency in safety incident response, investigations etc
  • Previous success in driving health and safety initiative and programs locally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of transport / COR highly advantageous
