About the Company
We are looking for a proactive HSE Advisor (Health, Safety & Environment Advisor) to drive workplace safety in a growing family-owned agricultural business. If you have experience in WHS, risk management, compliance, and fostering a positive safety culture, this is your chance to make a real impact in one of Australia's most established industries.

In an exciting period of growth, the business is expanding their operations by undergoing a large extension project. As the HSE Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the necessary considerations, frameworks, training, and implementation strategies are in place to facilitate the success of the project.

About the Role
As the HSE Advisor, you will drive the implementation of the health and safety strategy at site level, working closely with all business functions. Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, you will be the visible face of safety, supporting both the new construction project and general operations of the organisation.

You will play a key role in the promotion of a positive safety culture by providing practical advice and support to contractors and employees, while delivering initiatives that continually improve the overall culture and performance.

This varied role will set you up for success as it will give great exposure to a broad scope of safety activity, with the vision to develop your career throughout your tenure.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain a critical risk register, implement risk control measures, and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Lead incident investigations, safety committee meetings, analyse safety data, and implement corrective actions.
  • Review and update risk assessments, monitor regulatory changes, and promote a proactive WHS culture.
  • Serve as the Return-to-Work Coordinator, manage claims, and support injured employees in their recovery journey.
  • Lead safety audits, ensure accurate WHS reporting, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in site environmental programs, conduct relevant testing, and ensure adherence to environmental standards.
  • Lead the mental health wellbeing initiatives across the business.
About You
You are a proactive safety professional with 3+ years of experience ideally working in a blue collar environment. You are happy to work autonomously but will seek collaboration with the wider teams to promote a positive safety culture. You enjoy being the visible face of safety and value being on site in and amongst the workers.

What We Are Looking For
  • Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a health and safety role, ideally having worked with a blue collar workforce.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management, and safety compliance.
  • Excellent organisational and problem solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Why Apply?
  • A supportive team environment where safety and wellbeing are top priorities.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
  • A collaborative workplace that values initiative and continuous improvement.
  • Open to candidates Australia-wide, with relocation support available.
** To be considered for this position, you must have full Australian working rights and reside in Australia.
