About the Role
This role offers you the opportunity to make a direct impact on the safety culture and practices within the organisation. As a key leader in the implementation of the OHS Management Systems, you will drive safety improvements, engage employees in safety initiatives, and maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
- Develop and deliver the annual OHS plan in line with organisational safety goals.
- Lead initiatives to reduce critical risks and improve workplace safety.
- Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations to drive effective risk management.
- Oversee internal audits to ensure compliance with OHSMS, regulatory standards, and ISO 45001.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through leadership and team coaching.
- Monitor and report on safety performance, using data to inform improvements.
- Review and implement safety procedures to meet legal and industry standards.
- Benchmark internal practices to maintain excellence in safety management.
About You
You’re an experienced safety professional with a solid grasp of health and safety regulations and industry best practices. Ideally, you have more than five years of experience in manufacturing or logistics settings, with a strong emphasis on OHS management. Whether you hold a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or have gained equivalent experience in similar roles, you bring the knowledge and leadership needed to build and sustain a safety-first culture.

- Be highly visible across the business, not afraid to roll up your sleeves to lead from the front.
- Possess strong knowledge of, and be able to interpret relevant Safety legislation, policies and processes.
- Have a strong bias for action with the ability to execute effectively
- Have a strong presence and personal brand, able to influence stakeholders and mobilise collective action.
- Be a people-centred leader who understands how change is delivered through effective engagement.
- Bring a lens of what ‘good’ looks like and how this can be brought to life within the business.
- Ability to clearly communicate and make the complex simple.
